The 700DC-P1200Z12 relay is a NEMA AC integrated DIN rail relay manufactured by Allen-Bradley and is a member of Bulletin's 700DC relay product line. The relay is a standard type DC powered relay with a rated voltage of 12 volts DC. It has up to 12 normally open (NO) contacts, 0 normally closed (NC) contacts and open housing types. The Allen-Bradley Bulletin 700DC relay requires no special tools to install and is compatible with 700S-P safety relays and safety monitoring relays, providing a cost-effective solution to industrial safety circuit requirements. Other notable features of the 700DC-P1200Z12 relay and other devices in the 700DC relay family include robust construction and a wide current range for individual relays rated at 10, 20 or 35 amps. The relay has a convertible "swing" cartridge that converts contacts from normally open to normally closed.

It has an IP2X finger safety rating as well as a specified wire size, making its wires easy to install with the protective cover still attached. A finger-safe top cover allows users to activate mechanical overcontrols on standard relays such as the 700DC-P1200Z12 relay using a manhole in the cover. Allen-Bradley designed this relay to provide a special integrated DIN rail design that allows a variety of relays to be mounted on DIN rails, especially AC NEMA relays with up to 12 poles.
