IS220PDOAH1A This model features a discrete output package designed with interfaces for up to two I/O Ethernet networks and other discrete output terminals. A special feature of this model is that it can control up to 12 relays and receive feedback signals from other terminal boards. Typical relays available for this model are solid-state relays and electromagnetic relays. Solid-state relays are used with TRLYH1B, C, D, and F terminals, while electromagnetic relays are used with TRLYH1E boards. The battery pack will receive input from a dual RJ45 Ethernet connector as well as a three-pin power input.

A processor board is embedded in the IS220PDOAH1A package. There are a variety of processors, including but not limited to status indicating leds, local power supplies for monitoring and sorting, high-speed processors including flash and RAM memory, and more. All information about the processor can be found in the GEH-721G Mark VIe Control System Guide, information can be found on pages 223 to 230.

There is an output enable function for use with the IS220PDOAH1A package. During the application of energizing the battery pack, all outputs will be disabled until some internal self-testing is completed. The enable function can provide a path independent of the command, which will ensure that the relay remains discarded during battery pack initialization and power-on.
