The reel is the core part of the winding machine, which is made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy plate material, and has a certain elasticity and strength. (1) The original plan

The original scheme uses magnetic powder clutch to control the winding tension, and its core principle is to use the linear relationship between excitation current and torque. When the excitation current passes through the magnetic powder clutch, a certain torque is generated, and the torque is proportional to the current. By precisely controlling the size of the excitation current, it is possible to achieve precise control of the winding drum torque, thus maintaining the ideal tension. In this system, monitoring reel length is crucial. As the winding continues, the winding length will gradually increase, and the winding diameter will increase with the load. Accordingly, the excitation current needs to be adjusted accordingly to keep the tension constant. The control system monitors the winding length in real time through the sensor, and converts the information into the corresponding excitation current instruction. When the winding length increases, the sensor sends a signal to the control system, which adjusts the excitation current according to this signal to increase the torque to keep the tension constant.
(2) New plan
The new solution is built by 4.3-inch touch screen, single-board intelligent servo drive and servo motor. In the new scheme, we use the 4.3-inch touch screen as the human-computer interface, and the single board intelligent servo driver and servo motor as the core devices to realize the precise control of the webbing winder. In order to achieve accurate control of the ribbon winder, we use 4.3 inch touch screen to design a friendly human-machine interface. On this interface, the operator can enter the initial torque, the torque increase level, the total winding length required, and calculate the length of the runner circumference to make the machine run. At the same time, the operator can also view the current production status and production data in real time, such as the current actual output torque size, total output, etc.
Then, we use a single board intelligent servo drive to control the operation of the servo motor. Single board intelligent servo driver is an integrated servo driver, which has built-in PLC function and motion control function. Through the single board intelligent servo drive, we can precisely control the output torque and steering of the servo motor, so as to achieve accurate control of the webbing winder. At the same time, the intelligent servo drive will also monitor the running status of the servo motor in real time, when there is an abnormal situation, it will immediately stop the operation of the servo motor, and can quickly output signals to notify other components to prevent accidents. In general, using 4.3 inch touch screen, single board intelligent servo drive and servo motor to build a webbing winder control system can achieve accurate, efficient and safe control.
Iii. System advantages and summary
