The Guard I/O DeviceNet Security module, directory number 1791DS-IB8XOB8 is a security output module with a solid state output. The module has embedded I/O modules, such as eight (8) security inputs, eight (8) solid state outputs, and four (4) test outputs.

The 1791DC-IB8XOB8 module is equipped with a protection Class 20 housing. It can be used in applications that require safety Integrity Level (SIL) 3. It complies with the IEC 61508 standard and safety Category 4 as specified in EN 954-1.
