Desciption
Manufacturer GE General Electric
Series Mark V
Part number DS200RTBAG3A
Function Description Relay terminal board
DS200RTBAG3A is a Mark V series relay terminal board developed by General Electric. The relay terminal board status of the DS200RTBAG3A printed circuit board is supported by the function description appearing in the relevant GE specification manual material and by the inclusion of the RTBA function acronym in the DS200RTBAG3A alphanumeric product number. This DS200RTBAG3A printed circuit board, or PCB for short, is not the original relay terminal board manufactured for the Mark V turbine control system family, although it does have the normal Mark V Series assembly style used in the original product. The original relay terminal board created and produced for the Mark V series was the DS200RTBAG3 parent printed circuit board, which significantly lacked the single Class A functional product revision in this DS200RTBAG3A product.

Hardware tips and specifications

This DS200RTBAG3A relay terminal board or relay terminal board assembly includes a number of product-specific and Mark V Series simplified hardware components to achieve their original intended functional state in the larger Mark V Series and Mark V Series automatic driver assemblies. When using this board, the installed host will provide an additional 10 relay points. Many GE brand exciters and inverters can install the card into their operating cabinets. Relays can be driven remotely by the user or the onboard LAN I/O terminal control board. On this board, ten relays are made up of two different types of relays. Seven of the relays are of DPDT type and are located at positions K20 to K26. Separately, the DPDT relay includes two type C contacts in the assembly of the DS200RTBAG3A relay terminal board. The current on each contact on these types of relays is 10A, while the other three relays located at positions K27 to K29 are of type 4PDT. These relay types include four type C contacts, each with a rate of 1A. The I/O of all relays is protected by 130 VAC MOV (metal oxide varistor), and each relay also contains a 110 VDC coil to ensure proper board operation. If any relay fails, the user can quickly and easily remove and replace any relay on the DS200RTBAG3A.

Both the motherboard and the drive provide a set of installation parameters determined by the manufacturer. Following these steps will ensure that the motherboard and its mounted drives function as expected. For complete wiring guidelines for the DS200RTBAG3A, refer to the series manual or device data sheet.
