The DS200VPBLG1A is a PCB component from GE's Mark V series. The MKV is part of the Speedtronic family of gas turbine and steam turbine management systems. Built with a triple modular Redundancy (TMR) architecture, the MKV is designed to perform all the sequencing, protection functions and critical control algorithms needed to manage and operate the turbine and its auxiliary equipment. The DS200VPBLG1A serves as the VME backplane. The board is designed in a rack system that will accept additional boards inserted into its multiple connectors. The housing of the fixed circuit board has a shorter front that allows the front of the board to be exposed, and a higher back that allows the insertion of other boards. The housing has a top hat flange with multiple screw mounting seats on the left and right bottom edges. This allows the entire enclosure to be installed and secured in place. Note that the housing is a separate component from the DS200VPBLG1A board.
