The REM610 is a motor protection relay manufactured by ABB. It is part of ABB's Relion® protection and control product family, specifically the 610 series. This protective relay is designed for medium and large asynchronous low voltage motors and small and medium asynchronous high voltage motors. It is also suitable for protecting power cable outlet and power transformers requiring thermal overload protection.
The REM610 has a variety of protection features, including motor overheat load, motor start monitoring, rotor lock, phase to phase overcurrent, low current, negative sequence protection, zero sequence current and circuit breaker failure protection.
